Background. Continuous education system is one of the characteristics and a condition of the strategic development of the modern society. Continuing professional education is a prerequisite («Qualifications Framework») for employees.Virtual education in the field of training of teachers, combining the functionality of a full-time, distance learning and is an innovation that allows to claim the status of federal innovation platforms (in accordance with Art. 20, § 3–4 of the Law «On Education in the Russian Federation», 2012).
Materials and methods. Model of learning in a virtual environment is based on the use of knowledge management systems (ontological approach) and has the architecture of the training system on three interacting levels: the syntactic (object) – the organization of storage and disparate sources of knowledge: text, data, meta description sources in the knowledge base, semantic (conceptual ) – Define the categorization of knowledge common to all sources of knowledge in this area of training (development of an ontology of knowledge, which is defined as the separation of the main categories of knowledge and rules of interpretation of their semantics), pragmatic (application) – Define the information needs of users and profiles of their knowledge (defines the context for the processing, analysis and decision-making).
Results. Received technology training in a virtual environment based on the use of strategies and techniques derived from the ontology of knowledge to the solution of the problem of training. The technology implemented on multi-instrumental-cloud technology platform based «hhh» Cloud Serviced Bus. The platform supports a personalized study plan, the creation of interactive teaching aids in a variety of formats, including audio and video capabilities, implementation, and testing labs, as well as the launch of a variety of applications. The system implements special modules for the dean and rector, allowing obtain statistics at different levels of detail on the use of the system in the study of different courses, build schedule and execute tests.
Conclusions. The use of service-oriented iterations in training, based on three-dimensional images in the sliding mode (3D Avatars in Sliding Mode) creates a new, more effective opportunities for continuous virtual education and creation in Russia of the International Virtual Institute for Continuing Education.
